MHE and Select Student Housing thrive in the Student Housing arena.  With over 1,000 beds under ownership, MHE creates luxury living for students in areas that are adjacent to excellent 4 Year Universities.  MHE's student housing properties tend to be fully rehabed to a new construction standard of finish.  The barriers to entry for New Construction next to Campus are so high that rehabilitating properties makes perfect sense to MHE Real Estate.  MHE / Select Student Housing have placed particular emphasis on Four Year Universities across the West Coast.
